Education

One of the hallmarks of a progresive nation lies in the quality and quantity of its educated citizens. In this sense every institution of higher learning should be easily accessible to every of her citizen irregardless of colour, race or religion. God is fair. When he created human beings he never created Malays, Chinese or Indians but he created human beings to have fellowship with Him and with one another. How are we going to have fellowship with one another when we are constantly biting and trying to devour one another forgetting our original creator. How can be more educated and progressive when we continue to be suspicious of one another.
When one group continues to champion the education of its own people without any consideration or taking into account of the pluralistic nature of the country, then I'm afraid we are sending the wrong signal not only in this country but to the world. Please bear in mind the majority who went to private institutions did so because they have no choice and at the same time their parents have to squeeze out every drop so as not to deprive their sons and daughters of higher literacy. Please help your own race but at the same time give some space to others as well to prove that we are indeed a one big united happy multi-racial society where its people can co-exist harmoniously. I pray that this nation will one day be a Malaysian Malaysia.

Pinnacle of Education

University is for all. That is students slot day and night hoping to get into one in their lifetime. To deny them their rightful place is to shorten their lifespan and put them in a quandry. What is even worse when there is university that will not accept them but is ready to throw a lifeline to foreign students! That tantamounts to robbing Peter to pay Paul. If a student is "unacceptable" in his own country, where else can he go unless his family is operating a gold mine. Poor students. Some have to "drop out" into the working world hoping and praying to take the first road another day. But alas! Some never make it due to a myriad of reasons beyond their control. Some "lucky" souls just swallow whatever courses offered them on the rusty iron platter. It's better than nothing. It's still a university education after all. Some rebels jumped on the private institution saddling themselves with loans till their middle ages. Well, again it's better than not having the chance. Some universities talk of grabbing top students but I wonder how, I wonder why when our bright and sunny students are left to decide. Please don't take these creams for granted. They will come back to repay you one day.

Power Play

In this world of power play man is always trying its very best to reach his highest pinnacle albeit sometimes at the expense of his fellow friends. Who cares? If I can get what I want I will do my very best even if I have to stab or another to the bottomless pit. If possible I will use my vast array of wealth and splash it and surely I will be able to command a good following. After all when a person has tremendous wealth what is money to him? Or can I use sex to seduce another, to implicate and to destroy. Is there any more fair play or justice so that people will continue to have a level playing field competing on equal footing without being bias. May be the answer is hard to come by but if we want to continue to live peacefully side by side, may be we have to, may be we even need to sacrifice a little bit. To implicate or to use all kinds of dirty tricks to bring others down so that you can be on top is surely too much in the making. What are we trying to prove actually? To be a pseudo hero in this unrealistic world where life hoovers around 70 or 80 years. Common on. Let's get on and expose those dirty culprits out there and blow their top off so that there will be fair play justice and equality in this God given world
